               St Barbara's  Earlsdon 
                               

Earlsdon lies to the South of the London– Coventry-Birmingham Railway Line and East of the A45 Highway that connects Birmingham to the M45. Together with our neighboring Church of St. Mary Magdalen we are part of the Coventry South Deanery and a Member of the Ecumenical Group of Churches Together in Earlsdon & Chapelfields. The organist (Norman) and choir
 director (Katherine) are looking for enthusiastic and
 committed singers of all ages to join the Church
 Choir. No experience necessary  – we just want you
 to enjoy singing.

 Choir practice will start on Friday evenings at
 7.00 pm at St  Barbara's. If anyone is interested in
 joining the St Barbara’s choir you would be most

 Farewell !
 
After fourteen years of dedicated service as Vicar of
 St Barbara's , the Rev'd Hilda Wild  

 retires. Her final service will be on

 Sunday 19th May at 10.00am and
 the congregation will include
 representatives from local
 organisations. Her ministry to the community has
 been widely appreciated and after the service she will
 be joined for lunch by the congregation as well as
 colleagues and friends with whom she has worked.
 Hilda, we all thank you for everything that you have
 done at St Barbara's and enjoy a long, healthy and
 happy retirement back up North ! (Ed.)

                     Friendship Group 

  The group meets once a   month, on a Wednesday
  at 2pm in St Barbara’s Church Hall. Visitors are
  welcome (50p admission).
