Harvest Festival will be next Sunday (5th October). Tinned or dried Harvest food gifts will be given to Coventry Cyrenians. Fresh produce will be auctioned and the proceeds given to Umoja. Coventry Cyrenians provide a comprehensive range of high quality services to homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Coventry and Warwickshire with the objective of improving their quality of life and to empower them to live as independently as possible. Umoja (Swahili for ‘Togetherness‘), otherwise known as Church and Community Mobilisation, is a dynamic way of helping local churches to work together with their community in addressing needs using their own resources. It has brought remarkable transformation to local churches and their communities around the world.
